Madrid, March 6, 2024 – ODILO, the Spanish edtech enabling various organizations and institutions to establish their Unlimited Learning Ecosystem, has named Ainhoa Marcos as the new VP Education Spain and Global K12. A professional with over two decades of experience in the sector, Marcos has a background as an educator in Spain and the United States, along with significant leadership roles in the corporate world.
Ainhoa joined ODILO’s education team last April as the Global Director of K12 sales strategy and has recently been appointed as VP Education Spain and Global K12. With this appointment, the scaleup aims to strengthen its commercial team to solidify and enhance its client portfolio both nationally and internationally. In this capacity, Marcos will provide strategic support to other commercial teams in the 54 countries where the company is present. Moreover, she will play a pivotal role in reinforcing ODILO’s trusted relationships with education sector leaders, academic institutions, directors, faculty, and the overall educational community.
A graduate in Art History from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Marcos has held various positions related to strategic consulting. She has worked with companies such as SMART Technologies, specializing in edtech solutions like digital screen production, and Microsoft, where she closely aligned with the company’s business within the education sector. Additionally, she has collaborated with the Master’s in Educational Technology and Digital Teaching Competencies at the University Alfonso X El Sabio and currently contributes to the International University of La Rioja (UNIR).
