The most important event for libraries in California will gather a diverse group of professionals who are passionate about books, libraries and the shaping of the industry’s future. The 11th Califa Annual Vendor Fair will be held at the Santa Clara University Library on August 15th, 2019. For this annual event, the participants will be a part of a full day of in-depth demonstrations and an opportunity to learn about new products, updates, and share best practices in 40-minute learning blocks.
Book clubs are on the rise. Today’s big questions are: How can one create a successful book club in today’s digital age? What can public libraries do to encourage their patrons to actively participate? How can you offer a compelling experience?
During the Fair, ODILO will answer these questions and share its experiences in managing book clubs at scale with its presentations called “The Future of Book Clubs”.
ODILO’s intelligent book clubs are fully integrated with its intelligent digital library or available on a standalone basis. Librarians can leverage an engaging, interactive experience to significantly grow participation in its book club events, manage reading programs more effectively as well offer new, innovative ways to engage large audiences.
The Califa Vendor Fair is a free event! Breakfast and sign-in will begin at 8:30 am with the first demonstrations starting at 9:15 am. Lunch and parking are also included. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend. The day will end at 3:50 pm. Not registered yet? Click here.
